Siemens Energy composite insulators combine the highest levels of electrical insulation and mechanical tensile strength in a compact, lightweight one-piece housing design with two different sealing options.

All insulators are designed and tested in compliance with IEC 61109, ANSI 29.11, ANSI 29.12 and CSA C411.4-16 standards.

Solid Core Insulators

Long Rod Insulators (3FL)

Features a diameter of up to Ø 37 mm/1.45” indicating their ability to withstand mechanical loads up to 550 kN/120 klbs.

Post Insulators (3FS/3FT)

Features a diameter of up to Ø 120 mm/4.7” indicating its ability to withstand mechanical loads up to 80 kNm/700 klbs-in.
